Melissa Padberg

Mélissa Padberg was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she spent many years in the hospitality industry before joining Papyrus. At the Firm, she has held a variety of roles, including project manager, proposal development, and capacity strengthening advisor, always guided by a commitment to learning from local community members and supporting their capacity to thrive. Her ability to navigate complex environments and build resilient teams has been pivotal in achieving a measurable impact.

A founding board member of Papyrus, Mélissa has helped shape its evolution into a purpose-driven organization that provides fulfilling and impactful work for its team. Initially based in Haiti, Mélissa currently operates out of South Africa and the Netherlands. She is fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole.
