Papyrus partnered with Land O’Lakes/Venture37 in this five-year project in the North and South of Haiti focused on sustainably transforming the livestock market system. The consortium catalyzed inclusive commercialization of the cattle, goat, sheep and poultry value chains, enabling long-lasting market linkages with aspiring private and public sector partners while building the resilience of smallholder farmers and their communities to benefit from this transformation.
Papyrus served as the lead consortium partner in defining and implementing innovative market systems resilience methodologies and engaged the private sector to increase utilization of available financial products, enhance their ability to produce higher-value products for rural and urban markets, and to access the inputs and services they need to invest further in the sector and increase profitability.
