The KTSR is a public private partnership project designed torevitalize the Thiotte coffee sector
The KTSR is a public private partnership project designed to revitalize the Thiotte coffee sector, so it becomes profitable and environmentally sustainable and contributes to resilience, stability, and inclusive growth for participating farmers in this high-altitude area of Haiti.
By increasing coffee production, yield, and quality; strengthening the coffee market system and the capacity of a local farmers’ association; and increasing the provision of private sector-led agricultural extension services, the project is already having a profound effect on the coffee (and companion crop) market chain.
This PPP is financed by Produits des Isles S.A (PISA) and USAID. Papyrus is the preferred supplier of administrative and compliance services. PISA was awarded this project due to its project management skills acquired in an earlier PPP that Papyrus managed for it. Papyrus is proud of PISA’s new ability to manage donor projects as prime.
