Papyrus leads a consortium contracted by the MasterCardFoundation to implement its Capacity Development Framework and Shared ServicesFacility.
Papyrus has partnered with the MasterCard Foundation to work closely with their Pan-African Program in developing a capacity accompaniment framework and services facility, aligned with the Foundation's processes for programming for impact. Papyrus is leading a consortium that is focused on strengthening local partner administrative and organizational management systems such that they can enhance their operations and achieve transformational change at scale through programming that is designed, executed, monitored, and adapted to suit the needs of target communities in Africa.
This assignment entails working with an initial group of 35 organizations currently implementing the Foundation’s programs in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Senegal, and Nigeria that have been invited to engage in a combination of in-person and virtual capacity strengthening services with our teams to both meet immediate needs and gather evidence to support a proposed framework.
Papyrus is also consulting broadly with stakeholders and Mastercard Foundation partners in Ghana and Ethiopia as well as other foundations, agencies, and donors. These exchanges help to identify persistent barriers to organizational strengthening and drivers of change and will provide evidence to support proposed catalytic points of entry.
